Under Trastevere Stars - Live like a local on Gianicolo hill

Gianicolo hill is known all over the world for its fantastic belvedere. The Acqua Paola fountain, called by the Romans “Fontanone”, by night is surely the most romantic place. It is only 400 mts from the house, so you can greet Rome from here each evening before going to bed. Also, in 10 minutes by walk you’ll be in Trastevere and from there you can reach any area of the city center.

The apartment is a studio of 29 sq/mts. To assure the best comfort, it has been furnished with a special bed, which can be a double bed, twin ben, a sofa or a single bed with an armchair. Not absolutely a sofa bed. So you can have all the space you need, either you are a couple, two friends or a single person.

There is a kitchen, with an induction cooker and a microwave oven (and fridge and freezer of course) (enlarge the pictures for a better view). The kitchen is well equipped also for long stays (coffee machine, kettle, cookware, tableware).

In the bathroom, you'll fine a special shower with hydrojets and cervical waterfall, to ensure the best relax during your stay.

The apartment is in an enchanting villino of 1930'.

Parking in private garage available on request. 15 euros per night. 

You will also love the neighborhhood, Gianicolo/Monteverde Vecchio is one of the most wanted (and expensive) neighborhood in Rome, because it is in the city center but in a quiet and residential area.

You will find supermarkets, shops, cafes, winebars, restaurants just few steps from the apartment.

Also two great parks of Rome Villa Pamphili and Villa Sciarra are few meters away.

Trastevere and historical center is 10-15 minutes by walk and if you follow Gianicolo walk you can reach St. Peter cathedral.

If you don't love walking, direct buses to Capitol hill and Colosseum (bus stop 50 meters from the house).
